Rochester Harley-Davidson® 1,000 Mile Maintenance
-Change engine oil and filter
-Inspect air cleaner and service as required
-Check tightness of wheel spokes
-Check clutch adjustment
-Inspect rear belt and sprockets and adjust belt
-Inspect and lube jiffy stand
-Check brake fluid levels and condition
-Check spark plugs
-Check & adjust engine idle speed
-Inspect shock absorbers
-Road Test
-Inspect air cleaner and service as required
-Check tightness of wheel spokes
-Check clutch adjustment
-Inspect rear belt and sprockets and adjust belt
-Inspect and lube jiffy stand
-Check brake fluid levels and condition
-Check spark plugs
-Check & adjust engine idle speed
-Inspect shock absorbers
-Road Test
-Inspect oil lines and brake system for leaks
-Check tire pressure and inspect tread
-Replace transmission lubricant
-Check primary chain adjustment
-Check, adjust, and lube throttle, brake enrichers and clutch controls
-Inspect fuel valve, lines, and fittings for leaks
-Inspect brake pads and discs for wear
-Check operation of electrical equipment & switches
-Adjust steering head bearings
-Check tightness of critical fasteners
-Check tire pressure and inspect tread
-Replace transmission lubricant
-Check primary chain adjustment
-Check, adjust, and lube throttle, brake enrichers and clutch controls
